When making films Jenny responds to the architecture of a space using it as a prop. She documents herself carrying out apparently futile yet defiant physical feats. These actions seem like a romantic response to, or an urge to escape from the space in which they are performed. These films are process based determined by the response to the environment and how she uses the wind up mechanism of 16mm and 8mm cameras as a timer in which to perform an action.
